Bumpy rash on elbows and knees

Any ideas what this is? It appeared on DD’s knees last week and has now appeared on her elbows this morning. Nowhere else...

My son has the same thing. I haven't found anything on google to help. I will be visiting doc tomorrow, but hoping someone knows something and can give me a clue before! Question- is it causing your child pain or is it itchy? My kid's doesn't seem to be painful or itchy. I am so lost as to what this could be!

Did either of you find out what is was? My 1yr old has the same!

Did you find anything out at the doctor. My 10 year old grandson has what looks like the same rash. He had a cold and fever for about a week and then a week later came down with this rash. It does not itch but just not sure what it is. Really bad on the backs of his elbows and just a little bit on his kneecaps.

Hope your little ones are feeling better now. How long did it last? Did they have any other symptoms?
My 3 year old has just come down with the same looking rash but it's only on his elbow and knee.
Hoping someone may be able to share their experience with this.

Hello, did anyone find out what this is?! My 5 year old has similar. Only on outside of knees and elbows. Comes up red, fades, reappears. Itchy. Thanks guys! X

Hi, this looks like pompholyx eczema. Google should be able to tell you more. It's itchy but not usually harmful. Appears on fingers, toes, elbows and knees.

Hey did you get a diagnosis? Looks like Juvenile Dermatomyositis? Trying to find anyone else going through same as my LO

Hi, this came and went. Returned recently and I think benign viral rash as she’d had viral infections as a precurser. Search Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. Hope clears up soon!
