Dd’s been complaining of stomach ache for the last few days - I’ve been suggesting warm baths and hot water bottles which help but it’s not going away. She’s got her GCSEs in a few weeks and has a long-standing history of anxiety and self-harm (she is on the waiting list for ASD investigation). This afternoon she said she was having problems breathing - she said she couldn’t breathe deeply so was breathing shallow breaths and apparently it hurt to breathe. She seems fine now but still has a stomach ache.

I suspect this is all caused by anxiety but am not sure how to deal with it - any ideas please?

No, only a doctor can tell you. I wouldn’t assume anxiety when it could have a physical and possibly serious cause like rumbling appendix. Please get her checked out before the exams start next week. If it is anxiety, GP could help to, can be just as crippling as a physical cause.
Better safe than sorry.
