Baby has gunky eye

Hi all, since yesterday my 9 month old DS has had green gunk in his eye. He seems fine in himself but the skin around his eye is red.

Any tips on what i can do or if he'll need the gp. Thanks

It sounds like conjunctivitis. Wipe it away with cotton wool and water, wash your hands carefully and try not to touch his other eye. The pharmacist should be able to advise you on the appropriate treatment if it doesn't improve. No need for the GP yet.
