DS (4) has been off for couple of days, but whiney and not himself. Tonight in the bath I notice a couple of spots and his temp was a bit high. He's asleep now but is this chicken pox? They do look blister like but he only has 2 or 3. Is this possible?

We had this last week. Truly horrific. We're day 9 since first spots appeared and in the horrible scabby stage now. It's DD's 5th birthday tomorrow so I'm so pleased that we can get out of quarantine to celebrate!

Btw DD had some infected spots so she's been on antibiotics too. Keep a watch for signs of infection - severe pain rather than itching and redness around the spots were the only indicators for us.

what was you prescribed jamtart? My 8 month old DD was given antibiotics Friday, as a few of hers was on the verge of becoming infected. It was beginning with ‘f’ like fluxcillon or something? It’s vile though she will barely take it she literally just spits it back out & starts coughing.

Dd is allergic to penicillin so she's had clarithromycin.
