Toddler converted in this, all over torso and more concentrated in leg creases etc. Chemist gave me moisturiser but it’s making it worse.

Going to try get to GP tomorrow but is it classic looking eczema?

My wee guy looks like this too. Domt let him scratch and avoid baths as much as you can. DS hasn't had a bath for a week now but been sponge bathed its helping slowly. Put cream on like 8 times a day so much cream hes slippery 😂

He’s only 20 months so not understanding but to be fair he’s not scratching just seems so uncomfortable. Yeah I’ve been limiting the baths and only using plain water.

What cream does he have? I was given exocream.

I get diprobase and oilatuim for the bath also when hes in the bath after 5 mins I put baby oil on to limit the waters contact with his skin so he can stay in a bit longer. Loose clothes to let the skin breathe and dont get to hot. My wee guy is 18 months and scratches any chance he gets.

Diprobase as a cream just to out on and I use e45 too

Just back from GP and he thinks just a viral rash. It’s raised and dry though.... however he’s given different cream to dry soothe it anyway.

They said that about DS too but it was a definently a flare up of eczema. Just keep the cream going all the time should clear up if it gets worse though take him back

Can they have Eczema but not itch it? My boy has what looks like and I'm treating as it but he never itches

Doonhame · 11/04/2019 12:37

I’m 100% sure it’s eczema in his leg & arm creases, but his torso is different it’s covering him from hips to neck. He isn’t scratching it though like pp, I get eczema flare ups are the itch drives me crazy.

Visit www.cosicare.co.uk we are an up and coming business that is dedicated to creating tools for parents and children to use when dealing with Eczema.

Our tool combines instant cold with satisfying texture that kills the itching sensation and soothes the skin before a child feels the need to scratch :)

My little brother has Eczema and the worst thing you can do is scratch it, this helps to fight that urge and keeps the surface of the skin nice and cool.

We also have an instagram account @eczematoys where you can keep in the loop of any new products.
