Just wondering if anyone knows what this rash is from? It came on suddenly on my DS's chest. He's five. Have consulted NHS Direct and he has no other symptoms. Might poss be allergic reaction. He says it's itchy. Thanks x

It wouldn't do any harm to give him some antihistamine (as long as he's old enough and not allergic of course) to see if it makes a difference.

Doesn't look like any kind of disease. Mine got a reaction itchy rash on his legs yesterday after walking in long grass. Sensitive chap.. no sign of it this morning.

Thank you both for replying. Well it's appeared on his face and forehead now. Chicken pox is going round the school so maybe it's a viral rash

Looks like prickly heat

The little white bumps look like an allergy. If you have antihistamine cream it will help, otherwise just a damp cold flannel if itchy. If it reoccurs you will need to try to work out the course, but stinging nettles look like that

Thanks for the advice. A cold flannel has worked wonders on cooling it down and it's almost gone now!
