Hypermobility

DD's swimming teacher has asked if she has ever had any hip problems or hypermobility diagnosed (DD is 4). She hasn't, but she does seem rather gangly and uncoordinated even for her age. Also her fingers bend backwards. I have wondered about dyspraxia in the past. Is it worth getting her examined? Would it be a trip to the GP in the first instance? Thanks.

Hyper mobility is extremely common
Unless she's actually having problems related to that, joint dislocations, nystagmus, bleeding problems etc then there is little point in perusing a diagnosis
