Gastroenteritis??

Ok so my DD is 10 weeks old and has been sicky over the past few days. She isn’t generally a sick baby, actually she’s never sicked up before now.
Her symptoms have been coughing, being sick- not regularly but loads at a time (cottage cheese style) and generally crying and crunching up her tummy as if she has griping pains. She hasn’t had diarrhoea. She seemed drowsy on the first day but has perked up...
Now my husband has got gastroenteritis and is in bed really poorly, jumping up to run to the loo a lot!!! I’m in the spare room with DD and starting to feel queasy myself.
So what I’m wondering is, did she pass it to us or is what she has something different and is she now going to get gastroenteritis?? I’m so worried with her being just 10 weeks...
Any tips if she does get gastro?
Thanks from a worried first time mum! Xx

Yeah it sounds like he has caught a bug from her, it can show symptoms differently in people, I was literally saying this on another thread in general health, last year we all had a bug starting with my husband who had vomiting and a fever but no diarreah, then 48hrs later my son got it and he had both v&d and then 4 days after him I got it but only had diarreah for 2 days no vomiting. To be entirely gross it all depends on how many particles of the germ you ingest.

Think there is definitely a bug going around as 2 posts today about it and my boy was sick in the night last night. The Joy's of the vomiting bug Confused
