Weird looking alien in my sons scalp

Hi I was woundering if anyone can help I felt what felt like a spelk on my sons scalp today, so I got the tweezers and tried to dig it out, when it came out I pulled what looked like a mini tadpole looking thing out,it was buried in his scalp like it was growing out and not just stuck in, il try post a pic if possible and suggestions welcome.

Haven't seen a picture but could it be a tick?
If so he needs medical attention asap.

It's probably an ingrown hair. They get all bunched up and wiggly and look a bit weird when you pull them out!

I had to Google spelk too. If it was like a splinter and not moving, then yes probably an ingrown hair. They can be weird. Want to see the picture though!
