I just signed into this site to talk about protruding ears This can be very traumatic for a child who has this problem The only remedy that I have seen that works is an old trick Tape the baby's ears with very soft microfibres tape and when you have to take it off use a product called zoff it's still used by professionals to remove sticky plasters It was used by my daughter in law for her youngest child and it worked

I have seen children who have been operated on, that was very successful and boosted the child's confidence no end.
Sticky tape may be the first thing to try, it certainly isn't the only option.

You are correct my own child had surgery and it was very successful but if I had been told of this procedure I would have certainly tried it My grandchil ears were not only sticking out but were turned up st the lope and the mother was told she would need surgery later
I just thought I would share By the way I am in my seventies and this is the only thing that I have seen working outside surgery

We used earbuddies for my newborn who had one ear completely misshapen- took a few weeks, so she wore hats/ headbands a lot to cover when we were out, but they are now perfect. I would definitely recommend them.
