My sons 11 weeks old today. I noticed a red mark on his lip yesterday so took him to docs. She said looks like a coldsore she didn't seem too concerned just gave us some cream and said come back if it gets worse. Today it looks like it's scabbing. It's only small still but I'm soooo worried as I know the virus can be very dangerous for little babies :(
I don't get cold sores neither does my partner. I don't think any of my family would be stupid enough to kiss him knowing they get them.
Is this something I should be worried about? Should I take him back to the doctors as it's gotten a little worse than yesterday. I'm so worried... I'll attach a pic.
