Does someone knows how to tell if child have week immune system? Or is there a place that would carry some checks on that?
I have 3 year old boy, he is been sick so much last half a year. Ear infection, eye infection, tonsillitis, gastroetitis, HMF desiese, plus all time cold. I start to wonder is it just normal first year in nursery thing or his immune system is not as good as should be?
Thank you

It’s normal for a 3 year old to pick up lots of illnesses, especially when starting nursery.

I used to have this problem with all my kids until I discovered the power of vitamin C. The only issue I had was that one of mine was allergic to citrus so the usual suspects went out the window. After a year of research I discovered "camu camu" a fruit grown on the Amazon river with 300 times the vitamin C than an orange. You can get it here in powder but it is remarkable 1 teaspoon in a smoothie twice a week. Good luck

Can you give your ds a children’s daily multivitamin?
Dcs come into contact with lots of new bugs during their first year or two in nursery so that period is also when their bodies learn how to fight them off, ie their immune systems develop more.
A good diet, plenty of sleep and regular sunshine (not easy if you are in the UK in February) should help.

It all depends really my DS who will be 4 soon was persistently ill from 9 months with various infections mostly 3 upper respiratory infections at a time every month or so, when he was 2 I demanded referral to Pediatrician as I just knew something wasn’t right with him, his glands where always swollen and just wasn’t getting better he had to get adenoids removed, then loads blood tests done including allergy tests, he had low levels against bacteria so needed extra injections, he’s also on inhalers and medications for his airways as he struggles during winter, he was in private nursery from 9 months to 2 years i then took him out to give his body time to recover just started back preschool last August but he hasnt been as bad since he started all his medications, if you really think there could be underlying problems no harm getting a referral
