DD tummy pain

My daughter is 5. For the last few years we've had problems with constipation, to the point of accidents because she's blocked up. It's gone through good and bad phases and we've been on various medication and had a tummy scan last year which showed all was fine. Most recently she's on movicol and has been referred to a peadiatrician but the appt isn't until April. She doesn't currently seem constipated and is on a low dose of movicol. However the last couple of week she has been complaining of very frequent tummy ache, often very sore. She tells me it is always there a bit but then is "very very hurty" at other points. A couple of times almost doubled up in pain, other times tells me it's really sore but outwardly seems ok. Nothing (going to the loo, lying down, eating) seems to help.
I'm at a complete loss. I can take her back to Drs but not sure what they can do at all? I just want to make it better for her but I've no idea what to try. She's otherwise a happy healthy girl, we've had a few issues with being anxious but it doesn't seem to be related to that at all.
Sorry for the long message and any advice welcome!

Read up about abdominal migraines. Both my DSs have had these. One still has it after 5 years and it is really bad at the moment.
