Vomiting without diarriah

This morning we were on our way out and my son was whimpering and then vomited all over himself and in the car. We got back and he slept for about 4 and a half hours and after waking seemed really happy, had some water and then about 20 mins started whimpering again, hitting his head like it was painful and about 10 mins later vomited. He's chilled out since being sick and happier but has little energy. He doesn't have a fever, rash or diarriah so I'm confused if it is a virus or something else. Any ideas what it could be?

To add he had some orange juice for the first time ever this morning so thought it could be something to do with acid and would pass after he slept

Hi, have you tried giving your son orange juice since, has there been any reaction?

Dad2017 · 10/03/2019 18:46

Hi Rachluis86,

No, not since. He's fine now and was just sick twice in that day. It was early in the day and had milk before it so it was either that or he had a bug but not sick again since then. A few people I know said they were sick when they were young from orange juice as it was to much for their immature gut.

I think being 2 he either he's a cold, bug, phase it's always hard to pinpoint the issue

Hiya, oh that's ok then, I'm glad it was just a one off. I hope he stays well Smile
