Erythema Multiforme

DD8 has had a reaction to penicillin on Monday. she developed a rash on her hands and feet and the dr said it was ok, and it may look worse before it looks better. they are much less itchy now (day4 ) and fading, but she has developed ulcers on the inside of her lower lip.

upon searching online her description perfectly matches erythema multiforma, which it says is fine and sorts itself out if it EM minor, but if its EM major (ie including muscus membranes such as mouth) then it can require medical assistance.

shes so so fed up of spending her half term at the doctors (5 visits in 7 days) and just wants to chill out and watch films. she feels absolutely fine in herself, not poorly at all, the only thing is that her mouth is hurting. shes still managing to eat and drink (soft things, yogurt, Weetabix, cake!) but I said we might have to go to the doctors and she got really upset, she just wants a pj day.

has anyone dealt with this and is it a case of it DEFINITELY needs seeing if its caused mouth ulcers, or can we just see how she goes.

obviously if it gets ANY worse or she starts feeling at all poorly then ill take her straight in
