Wheelchair injury

DS managed to hurt himself this morning. He was trying to move his wheelchair around my small apartment when his wheelchair sort of capsized and he fell onto the floor. So we are at the emergency room waiting to see his orthopedic doc. They have contacted him at my request.
My question is what should I be on alert for? I think we will definitely be here for a while. What realistically should I expect?

Hiya, don't have a lot of advice but I have DSs that use wheelchairs, one of which plus wheelchair basketball so has capsized a few times! How you getting on? I think his doctor will give a good exam, ask any questions you feel make sure your questions are answered. How old is DS? He might be a bit bruised tommrow!

He turned 2 in November last year. He’s definitely a handful. Sorry for not replying earlier I was preoccupied.

Ahh that's okay, how's he doing? I asked about age because DS at about three took part in like wheelchair activitie things (can't remember the name) which have extra advice about how to manoeuvre and extra stuff wheelchair service and physio didn't teach Him and when he got older the helped with getting over kerbs and up ramps himself etc. And it gave a good chance to meet other kids with disabilities. Might be a thought!
