7 year old daughter needs swabs

This isn't an Aibu but think this is the place where I would get the most response.

My daughter is 7 and needs some swabs taken from down there.

She hates going to the doctors and is going to be really nervous. Is there anyone that can give me any advice on how to make her feel at ease?

Morning, everyone. We've had a look behind the scenes and as far as we can tell the OP is above board. She's been here some time and everything seems to add up.

OP - sorry to gatecrash your thread. We do unfortunately get some very unsavoury types round here posting this sort of thing for very different reasons, so folk are naturally a bit jumpy about posts like this.

We're going to move the thread over to child health now where you should get some more advice and support. Hope all goes well for your DD at her appointment.
