10 month old being sick almost daily

Hello. Not sure if this is the best place to ask this as I’m new but hoping someone might be able to help.
My nearly 10 month old is sick almost every day. Sometimes twice a day. I’d say 7 or 8 times a week on average. It’s been this way pretty much since October and as far as we can tell it’s all down to various colds and other bugs he’s catching and seems to constantly have. He’s a happy boy and there is no signs of anything serious, in fact whenever I’ve taken him to the doctors he’s sat there babbling and waving leaving me looking a bit silly.
The problem I have is firstly making sure he eats/drinks enough, it’s quite often his formula he’s throwing up, and secondly whenever he gets this at nursery he’s at risk of being sent home and not allowed in the next day.
Nursery say they have never seen anything like it. My health visitor has no ideas and doctors couldn’t suggest much as he’s basically well otherwise (apart from a snotty nose and earache).
Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any ideas of what it could be?
Sorry for the long post.

If it's formula he's mostly vomiting, could he be allergic to dairy?

Hi thanks for responding. No we did considered that but it’s not always formula and the one thing almost guaranteed to stay down (although not today) is a yogurt. We kept a food diary for a couple of week and found no patterns. At the moment he has a virus on top of his usuals problems and the only things he’s kept down today is 120ml of formula and some rice pudding and yesterday was 200ml of formula and a small amount of cheesy veg mash.
Been to docs but she again didn’t have much to say. Just starting to worry a bit now.

I'm would keep going with the food diary. DS has allergies and will vomit but not immediately. Can take up to four days later but always the same culprits.

Another thought is could be have a lactose intolerance? Sometimes if they get a tummy bug they can develop temporary lactose intolerance that he might he struggling to overcome if he's been ill a lot.

This happened to my dd when she was a baby. Every night we'd put her to bed and she was sick it went on for months. Turns out she had acid reflux like her dad

Wow thanks so much. I didn’t know about the temporary intolerance I’ll definitely keep looking into that and any other intolerance it could be. It just seems so random at the moment.
He had silent reflux when he was really little but medication and getting older seemed to sort that out plus he was actually never sick with his reflux. From our experience I don’t think it is reflux again but I’m definitely keeping an eye out for signs.
Thank you for your suggestions. I can’t wait for the day when I’m not worrying whether he’s hungry! Might never happen haha!
