10 month old temperature

Her temp has been 37 - 37.8 for just over a week...?

She’s been to the drs as she’s had a cough for a while so ears, throat and chest checked all clear.

At the drs she was 37 and they didn’t say anything.

Can only find info online to say 36.4 is normal and 38 considered a temperature?

She’s had a bit of a snotty nose too so not sure if it’s teething related? Does this sound normal?

Have you given Calpol and noticed that her temperature has dropped.

Maybe call 111: if she doesn’t seem ill and doesn’t feel hot I wouldn’t be too worried, getting accurate temperatures from babies isn’t easy, but always call 111/GP if you are worried :)

37 is fine.
37.5 is a mild temperature. 38+ is a proper fever.

If it's below 38 and otherwise fine/teething/possibly a bit viral keep an eye at home.
If you're concerned go back to the Dr.

Also - what thermometer are you using? Our Tesco baby one gives weird readings, the proper Braun one is excellent.

Thank you for the reassurance. She seems fine! I do think it’s teething, it’s a good in ear thermometer...can’t think of the brand.

I’ll keep an eye on her though.
