DD woke up Thursday with a temperature of 39. Temperature was up and down all day Thursday through to Saturday morning and we were giving the max amount of Calpol. She has a really snotty nose and a bad cough. She was grumpy Sat and Sun but seemed to be getting better - no fever and was moving about a bit more and even went to the playground. However, today she has been lethargic, just wanting to sleep all day and developed a fever again. Took her to the GP who checked her out and said her chest, throat and ears are clear and it seems like a virus. I've just taken her temperature and it is 39.6. It just feels like it's going in the wrong direction! She was in hospital last year with pneumonia so this kind of lingering illness makes me worry..
