Weak / dead legs/ arms

So my 8 year old son had a virus at the end of October where he had a temperature and felt weak for a few days. Since then he’s been complaining of what he describes as ‘weak’ arms and legs. I think it’s the feeling you get when you have a cold etc and you feel lethargic? It’s worse at bedtime. He’s had 2 lots of blood tests for virtually everything and everything has come back normal. The doctor
Said he would ask the paediatrician at hospital for advice and that’s where we are at the moment. I don’t know how to make it better, he’s at the point where he’s in tears most nights. Any thoughts, experience on what could be wrong? My husband is convinced it’s psychological and in his head, even if it is, I have no idea where we go from here. Thank you

Thyroid test? Vitamin D and B12

I thought vit d.

But it's also possible I believe to have some sort of post viral fatigue syndrome.

Another possibility is ME? My brother has/had this and it's definitely not in the head. Afaik it was just a case of they ruled everything else out and said it must be this. Not 100% sure but don't think there's a specific test.

MAgnesium levels and iron? Lyme disease? I think he needs to actually be seen by a pediatrician and soon. Is he loosing any weight?

Or coeliac?

Dd has coeliac and one of her symptoms if she's been glutened is weird muscle aches. She comes over all dizzy. It's not always the usual stomach pains, etc for everyone.

Thank you all, he has been tested for vitamin d, iron, magnesium and b12 and they are ok. He’s not losing weight and has a bigger appetite. This has given me some ideas to mention to the doctor (don’t know why he hasn’t thought of these!). To add he’s ok during the day - but probably because he’s at school and doesn’t think about it. Have doctors appointment Monday so will update after that thank you again
