15 week old temperature low

Hi everyone

I currently have cold/flu and woke this morning to LO sneezing and coughing a bit. I checked his temp and at 35.7 (hes normally between 36.6 and 37.2). This seems quite low but can only see guidance for if temp drops below 35.
I've put an extra layer on him just now but wondering if anyone had similar and sought advice?

Thanks

111 or a and e.

I would be more inclined to blame the thermometer, because it can be hard to get an accurate reading from a little ear when they’re wriggling around.

Instead, feel their forehead with your lip. That’s how I always know my children are feverish. If it feels cool, their temp is OK. Also put your hand on their bare back to check how that feels.

I wouldn’t be ringing 111 for a bit of coughing and sneezing.

I would wonder about the thermometer too. A lot of them seem to be random number generators.

Does he feel cold?

I suspect 111 because at 35c a child would have hypothermia and this is a tiny baby.

How your baby now?

Thanks for replies. Ive tried a couple different thermometers just to double check, both were almost the same. Kept an eye on him and he seems to be ok in himself and temp is up a bit to 36.2 now. Will just carry on monitoring for now.
