I've already called 111 and waiting for a call back, I think it's probably nothing but would appreciate some reassurance.
My little boy is 7 months old, and has been out of sorts for the last week, just a bit grumpy and more tired than normal in the day but not sleeping well at night. However he has just cut his first tooth, so was putting it down to that. Today though he has come out in a rash all over his body, little pink very slightly raised spots. It's much worse on his head and seems very itchy, he's kept scratching at it and yelps when I touch it. He doesn't have a temperature.
Could it all be linked to teething? An allergy? He has also decided to start sleeping on his belly this week. I've changed his sheets before bed tonight in case it's that. He always seems to sleep with the same side of his head pressed down, which is where it's worst. But I'm worried that the rash is all over him, especially also down his back and a bit on his tummy.
