My 7 year old came up with this rash which started Monday night on his arms. I have been away so my husband has been in charge and didn’t think anything of it. When I saw it Wednesday morning I was shocked and took him to doctor to rule out it being contagious. Doctor said it wasn’t contagious and some sort of dry skin condition, asking questions about psoriasis in the family. I said it didn’t look dry and was confused but she said it clearly was so I trusted what she said. She said it should

More info and she said use the steroids for 7 days and keep an eye on it. I’ve been using lots of moisturiser as she recommended and the steroids but I haven’t seen any let up in the last 24 hours and if anything it’s looking worse. Has anyone else ever experienced this? He does have w few clusters of molloscum contagium (such a delight at the moment urgh) which have gone a bit weepy but she said this new skin condition was separate to it. Ideas?
