Reflux at 8 months

My 8 month old little boy has reflux (of the sicky kind) and CMPA. We’re on nutrimigen and carobel and he’s doing great on it. Not in any visible discomfort any more. We were on omeperazole but the paed said to stop as it would do more harm than good and to be honest, didn’t make a difference! He’s on 3 solid meals a day (BLW so not eating loads) and is offered 4 x 7oz bottles a day, of which he only drinks around 5oz in most bottles, but he’s still sick a good few times a day, not projectile but lots of pools throughout the day on his playmat or floor, especially on when on his tummy. I’m dreading crawling and just feel very fed up of constantly mopping up sick from me, him and the floor. He’s putting on weight and seems fine other than the vomiting. Shouldn’t it be stopping now? Does anyone have a similar experience where baby did eventually stop?!
