Toddler and antibiotics

In the last two months my 21 -month old has been diagnosed with sinusitis and now for the second time with an upper respiratory tract infection. She seems
mostly fine and acts normally but she’s had a consistent cough for weeks and often gets fever. She’s now been prescribed antibiotics for the second time in a row. Is this normal? Would there be another cure without antibiotics?

Hello, I have a toddler whose room gets very cold in the winter and so I am thinking of getting a heater with a timer for her. Would you have any recommendations on any brands that are safe, efficient and ok priced?
