For the last couple of nights my DS has been scaring me to death with random coughing / choking bouts. He’s very recently started drooling excessively so I’m assuming it’s salvia pooling at the back of his throat. He’s been EBF until this week when he went on a nursing strike so I’ve started supplementing his with formila along with milk I’ve expressed. Not sure if any of the above have something to do with this coughing?
I keep him upright after feeding and have his cot elevated at the head so he’s on an incline but it’s not really helping. Taking him to baby clinic this week but was wondering if any of you have experienced the same thing and can share any advice? I’m almost too scared to sleep I’m so afraid he’ll choke!
