From experience would you say reflux is worse for formula fed or breastfed babies?

My 4wk old has bad reflux and I am combi feeding.

It doesn’t make any difference really: it may be better bottle feeding if you are using a thickener. However breast milk has healing properties and often is a smaller amount so easier to digest. If baby has allergies contributing/causing reflux (like CMPA) breast milk from a dairy free mum is ideal.

I combi feed my refluxer: a Neocate bottle with thickener in before bedtime let him sleep up to 4 hours, whereas I found he would only manage 2 hourly stretches of sleep from a breastfeed.
