RSV Bronchiolitis

Hi everyone,

DD (nearly two) has RSV Bronchiolitis. Basically, a really shitty cough that's been keeping her up all night. She's been sleeping for about twenty mins at a time since Friday night. Have been bringing her into bed with me at night so I can rub her back to soothe her back to sleep.

Anyone have any tips on this particularly lovely virus?

Doc says cough bottles won't work, nor will Calpol as she doesn't have a fever. Husband working away until the weekend. BrewBrewBrew

A steam humidifier in her/your room and sleeping with her head and shoulder raised on a pillow should help. The humidifier will make a massive difference, and they're not that expensive. The Vicks 'warm air' humidifier helped DS massively when he was only a few weeks old and had bronchiolitis. Hope she's better soon, and you both get well deserved rest Thanks

Thanks @SprinkleOfInsanity

Have googled it and they seem great - will try anything at this point! If she's the same again tonight I'll pick one up from Argos tomorrow. Thank you.
