Any experience of MMF/Cellcept?

My son is taking MMF for a kidney condition. At the moment he has a heavy cold. Usually I would just treat the cold at home but as he’s taking MMF do I need to be more cautious and get him seen by a dr?

I've a little experience of immunosuppresants. I've just looked up the patient leaflet for MMF and it recommends contacting the GP for any illness including the common cold. I hope your DS feels better soon.

Thanks for looking that up Imnotaslimjim. Even though he is coldy he seems ok in himself, will speak to his renal nurse tomorrow.
