My almost 6 year old frequently complains about a "bammy" ear. From the way he describes it and no other symptoms I don't think it's an ear infection (no temperature, appears of it's own accord, not necessarily after a cold, he says it doesn't hurt, it's just "bammy" which I imagine is blocked and muffly). It's always the same ear.
It usually lasts a day or two, but it really gets him down and disturbs his sleep through the night, but does eventually go back to normal.
He tends to suffer about once a month-6 weeks. However, the most recent episode was in between Xmas and new year, and then again today.
I know kids suffer with their ears often, but is this something that now needs a GP appointment?
