Trapped wind

Hi there

I have a 10 month old DD who has awful reflux which is currently managed by meds. We have just come through a period of no sleep for about 2 months and she has slept for about 5 days straight - YAy!Smile

For the last 2 nights she has had the worst trapped wind and will not sleep and just cries in pain. I'm pretty sure she is teething too which isn't helping.

Does anyone have any tips for relieving her trapped wind? I've read probiotics are great but she is CMPA and also fennel tea?

Any help greatly appreciated!

My son was CMPI and suffered from horrible trapped wind. We would do belly massages and bicycle his legs and it always seemed to work. For really bad nights, we would go for a drive - I think the bouncing of the car helped move the gas along.

I know how awful it can be. Hang in there!

Thanks! Yes I do those for her but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Her gut is terrible! I'm pretty sure she has an allergy to celery, soya and some sort of gluten intolerance.

Doctor checked her out today and said she has an inflamed ear drum and symptoms looking like an infection but not bad enough for antibiotics. So that too is making things worse.

I just want her to be comfortable! I will literally try anything! I went back to gripe water today too. We also see an osteopath to help!
