15Mo has woken up with a rash over his back. It goes when pressed on- does anyone have any ideas? Only on his back.

Chickenpox, hives or heat rash?

That looks like hives to me... has DS had any new foods/ detergent / did he wear a new item of clothing last night?

Blueberry2018 · 01/01/2019 09:16

Hives or chickenpox

missesschmisses · 01/01/2019 09:16

Definitely looks like urticaria (hives)

cestlavielife · 01/01/2019 22:56

Non specific hives
Not always easy to identify the cause
You could give a priton dose if he is bothered

slappinthebass · 01/01/2019 23:03

Chicken pox or hives. Check behind knees and groin to see if you can find anymore? Putting them in a warm bath usually brings out more spots if it is chicken pox too.

Thanks. It's still there today although a little fainted and definitely isn't bothering him. I'm going to take him to the chemist this afternoon for peace of mind
