LO had a sore throat, cough, high temp, think hes got a infection as hes getting the same symptoms as before.

Hes just not eating at all, i was told by doctors last time as long as hes having fluids its ok but LO is not even taking this. Ive tried giving him calpol he was ok with it yesterday but today hes not taking it at all. He starts gagging and vominting hes done this 3 times in the space of half an hour.

All hes had today was small bowl of cereal with milk, 5oz baby milk , tried giving half a cheese sandwich but vomited soon after. When i offer him food he will bat my hand away and cry to move it away from him. His nappies are wet but not as wet as normal.

Are there any foods i should try to get his energy up? Any foods i should avoid?his sore throat is making him cough so ive tried giving him smooth food.
Any advice on what to do would be appreciated

Don't worry about food for now - fluids are the most important so can you try using a calpol syringe to squeeze small, regular amounts of water in?

If he's not taking that then I'd be tempted to ring 111 for an ooh assessment.

How is he this morning op?

Better than yesterday thanks for asking...but still groggy ...will try the water and syringe technique but i think hes just petrified of the syringe as im having to hold him down to give it to him its the only way i can give it to him.

Ice lollies might be a good way to get fluid in
