16 month old constantly has a cold!

Hi guys, my 16 month old constantly has a cold and I’m at my wits end. He will get over one and then a week later he will have another. Since September he’s had like 6 colds and croup. I don’t know what to do. He has a lot of water, fresh fruit and veg. Do you think a multivitamin would help? Anybody have any advice? Thank you x

Hi, my son (now 7) went through a stage like this when he started nursery. He had a constant cold and cough when he started, particularly through the long cold winter months. Does he attend nursery or anything? I think most children go through a stage of picking up illnesses when they are first exposed.

This did go on for a little while with my son but now at 7 he is very very rarely Ill so it is more than likely your little one will grow out of it. We didn’t try multi vitamins. Only because I knew DS wouldn’t take it.
