Melted teether

I stupidly put a fridge cooling teether in the steriliser with babies bottles. However, I didn’t realise until after I’d given him his night feed from one of them! The teether had left gel in the steriliser, is it dangerous if LO has ingested???

I would ring the non emergency number

And find the packaging or google it to see what the warnings are and contents

I think it’s very very unlikely to be toxic but the above advice seems sensible. Would you mind posting the outcome? My toddler is still attached to his teether and I’ve iften wondered how close he is to chewing through it.. hope all is ok

Hi @JWBSRB - hope everything is ok this morning, is your LO alright?

JWBSRB · 20/12/2018 10:12

He’s great, thanks! I got in touch with the manufacturers, all will be fine. He slept well and woke up this morning in a great mood.
