My son has impetigo for the 2nd time in 7 months. Exactly the same place as last time.
We have the cream but I need to know where I'm going wrong? Are we dirty?
I bath him every 2nd day, Flannel wash twice a day. House is not really 'Tidy' but it's not dirty i don't think?
Please can someone give me some cleaning/hygeine advice because I really don't know why this has happened again and I'm devestated 😢

My dgs gets it quite often, he has ditched the dummy as we thought it wasn't helping!! Only 1 of my dc ever had it, it never spread although it's highly contagious - maybe flannel harbouring germs?

It's not a judgement on your hygiene. It's highly infectious and endemic in small children. It's probably being picked up wherever your child has contact with other children (nursery, baby group, school).

Wash your linens on hot to deal with this bout, use the treatment and stop beating yourself up.

It's nothing to do with your hygiene. It's just very contagious. Hope your DS feels better soon.
