First time for us and the dreaded threadworms! I gave the whole family the medicine yesterday and have hoovered and damp dusted their bedrooms plus changed bedding and pjs. Do I need to change their bedding every single night? I'm happy to do this but my husband thinks it's unnecessary.

I don't think so. Just clean underwear and pjs every night. Preferably a onsie to prevent scratching! Bedding once a week

When mine had them I washed bedding on treatment day, then every 3 days until the second dose 2 weeks later!! I would of liked to wash them every day but it would of been a nightmare to wash and dry everything and the water bill 🧐

Bathing daily, clean pyjamas and good hang hygiene is very important and keeping on top of surfaces. I am a clean freak anyway but it pushed me over the edge when DS had worms!!

I put DS in a onesie as pyjamas every night so he couldn’t scratch and re infect himself. Worked really well!

and I am pleased to say they haven’t come back so what I done must of been enough!

Thank you! I've got a bit neurotic with washing and cleaning so good to know I can relax a little! Confused
