Mark on babies leg - mole/birthmark?

My little boy has a small pinkish bump above his knee, I feel like it's been present since around the first month maybe slightly later. It does seems to have grown, although perhaps is just growing with him - he's now 9.5 months. Has anyone's little on got anything simular? N.b I've got a docs apt booked to double check.

My daughter has the same on her upper foot/just below ankle.
Im pretty sure she was not born with it but have no idea when it appeared, it was certainly already there at the age of 5/6 months. She is now 1 and it has also grown. We had appointment with a dermatologist recently (separate issue) and i asked about it, they checked and its certainly a mole. Its normal when it grows together with a baby, not faster than the baby i was told
