Pain - coeliacs or something else?

After a year of feeling sick, upper stomach pain and reflux DD (almost 6) has now had a mild positive blood test result for Coeliac Disease but it is a very low number so may not be that. We are waiting for an endoscopy to confirm or rule out Coeliacs.

In the last week however, DD has complained of much worse stomach pain, just below her sternum, that apparently 'goes through to her back and up her back a little way'. She's still feeling sick after eating.

Having asked a number of parents of children with Coeliacs, the pain location and short episodes of feeling sick don't seem to be similar to coeliacs, so I'm wondering what on earth it could be?

Coeliac Disease pretty much has every symptom going and although there are common symptoms there are also are vast numbers of less common symptoms too.

Yes, it's tricky as you say, I'm just struck after reading around so much and reading so many accounts that DD's pain sounds different to the cramping usually described. Her feeling sick is also limited to after eating.

Obviously the endoscopy and biopsy samples will give us a definite on Coeliac Disease, I'm just concerned that it might be something else.

I'm wondering if it could be a pancreatic or gallbladder issue?
