Hi, My child fell over on Thursday banging his head. He was very confused, blurred vision, couldn't walk as was very unbalanced for 3/4 hours afterwards. We went straight to a and e and there was talk of doing a scan but over the course of the afternoon the symptoms went away so they felt it was no longer needed.
No bump or bruising has come out as of yet either. He's more tired than normal and I don't think his hand eye coordination is as good as it was, for example his writing skills seem have gone backwards it's now very scruffy.
Has anyone dealt with similar. How long did the effects last?

I would definitely make a GP appointment.

He now seems ok in himself during the day. To the point I'm telling him to stop climbing, skating, running so he doesn't hurt himself again. But come tea time he's very tired which I've read can be normal for concussion.

Will be going to gp. Just wondering if anyone has looked after a child who has been through similar. The initial after effects were a lot more severe than I've ever seen. We're to go back to the hospital if any of those initial effects come back.
