Vomiting and constipation

My DS is 2.5years, he normally poos regularly, mostly at least once a day if not more sometimes. Since Sunday he hasn’t been going as normal, a couple of little rabbit droppings but definitely not his normal movements.
On Tuesday evening he was sick not long after he went to bed, been fine all day, not off his food or anything but threw up quite a bit. The same has happened tonight, still not regular poos and he’s just thrown up everywhere. He’s very happy in himself and fine all day, he wasn’t even upset just after he’d thrown up.

Does anyone have any idea if the two things are related and do you think it warrants a GP visit? Or should I just keep working on trying to get him to poo properly and keep my eye on the vomiting?
