Baby vomiting at the same time every evening

I have a 10 week old EBF baby who on and off has been vomiting everything he has eaten between 4-7pm at night; but huge amounts for the last two nights in a row. As I am EBF it’s really hard to quantify how much of the feeds he is vomiting; but it seems like a lot. By the end of the three hours of holding him screaming and crying and seemingly in pain, I am covered in sick and poo.

I also can’t tell whether he has diarrhea as well; as all breastmilk poo is the same to me. It’s yellow and liquidy and contains curds and smells sweet.

From looking it up online, there is some information saying that it is often from over stimulation throughout the day. 4pm is when my 3yo comes home from nursery and it’s when the tv goes on and she and her other DS who is 2yo burn off the last of their energy of the day.

Could it really be something as straightforward as overstimulation which is making him have an upset stomach?

Also the vomiting is more like big burps. There is no retching or dry heaving, it’s just an enormous burp and lots of milk comes up. He also has no temperature.

What does this sound like to you?

If it’s a bug is the vomiting usually a lot more violent? And would he definitely have a temperature?
