Meningitis vaccine side effects?

Hi wise mumnetters,

My son had this vaccine last Monday and had been totally fine till this morning...irritable, little appetite and now a slight fever he's sleeping through...I thought the side effects would come within the 1st few days...did anyone else get delayed side effects? Or could he be getting sick?

I'd say it's unrelated and he's getting sick. I'd expect vaccine effects within 48hrs except the mmr which does state on NHS website that slight rash can appear up to 10 days later.
