Lump on neck- what is this?

DD7 has lump on her neck. It's at side of her wind pipe. It feels bigger than a pea it moves and it's painful. Hard to see on the photo but it's at side of my finger.
Anyone had anything like this before?

My DS had a thyroglossal cyst, which was about the size of a pea. It had a tail which went right down to his thyroid. They looked at it on a scan and he had to have an operation to have it removed, but it wasn’t anything sinister.
I think he was a similar age from memory - some time in KS2 anyway.
Pop her along to the GP and see what they say.
