My child’s now 15years has a diagnosis from GOSH 3years ago of significant memory problems likely caused by lack of oxygen from premature birth and very low birth weight. Haven’t actually been told it’s HIE. We are now looking to be re-referred to GOSH for a new assessment to see us through GCSEs and I was hoping to hear of anyone else’s experiences
