DS not eating

I'm wondering if anyone can help me.
My otherwise healthy DS is 18 months old. Last Friday he had a 24 hour vomiting bug and since then he has pretty much refused solid food. His only remaining symptom of illness is a sore throat (gp saw him yesterday and said his throat is red and angry).
He also coughs at night and will sometimes be a bit sick on his sheet.
We have tried offering his normal favourite foods, today he showed an interest and tried to eat, but immediately started screaming.
We've given nurofen for the sore throat and teething in case it's that.
He's drinking ok but only milk... which he only really wants in a bottle. It's like he's a teeny baby again.
Any advice? Is this just normal teething symptoms? Or all caused by the sore throat?

Sore throat
Give calpol then 30 mins later try yogurt or ice lollies - soft mushy or cold food
Try not to give neurofen unless really needed - it’s v hard on the little ones
