My husband was halfway through decorating our hallway, stairs and landing when our LO decided to come four weeks early. We’re due to have new carpets fitted in the next couple of weeks but really need to gloss the skirting boards and bannister. We’d like to do this before the new carpet goes down but I’m worried about fumes in the house. Our DD is now 5 weeks old, we can close our bedroom door and the living room but would the fumes in the air still have an affect on her?
