Possible worms? Help me

My daughter woke up last night around 11 crying saying her front bum was sore. She was writhing around crying- had a look- looked a bit red but that was it. Washed her etc. She didn't settle for ages - asked her a few times if she meant her bum as worried about worms she said no.
I had a look after googling and couldn't SEE anything moving - and she hasn't been itching prior. She was up a good couple hours crying on and off.

Do I treat for worms anyway just in case? Or would I definitely have been able to see them if she has them?
I'm pregnant so don't think I can treat myself?

Go to the doctors first. She said front bum so I'd think thrush is more likely tbh.

So she's not itchy? Just sore?

Not sore in bum area?

I wouldn't say worms or thrush, ,both are very itchy.

I'd bathe and sudocrem for a couple of days.

If no improvement, ;docs.

Does it hurt when she wees?

It could well be, but it could also be something else. Check her poos for worms? (Sorry it’s minging I know).

Worms are itchy rather than sore but too much itching can cause sickness.

Maybe see what tonight brings?

There’s no harm in treating as a precaution but obviously it costs money and it might not be worms.

Good luck
