Does anyone have anything other than a horror story for this stuff for asthma? ( please don't post on this thread to put me off as we have had 2 hospitalisations in 3 weeks and I need something to help with his breathing!!)

My son has been on them for a year or more with his inhalers and thankfully he’s been doing good, he was constantly in hospital with infections prior to starting these meds

I'm on it and love it! I could not get my asthma under control with whatever strength preventative they prescribed, with the asthma nurse always wanting to try one more way of doing things.

I saw a gp instead, who prescribed this, and on the next visit I told him I loved him as it was amazing and my asthma was now under control for the first time in years. I've been on it for 5 years plus now and I still think it's great.

AnnaMagnani · 16/10/2018 22:22

I'm on it and I love it! Totally made a difference for me.

Am told you either think it's great or pointless. I can really tell when I forgotten to take it Blush

Thanks! Every thread or post on the internet I read said people got really bad side effects. But no one ever posts when things work and they have no side effects. Just wanted to hear from some of the people that found them usefull!xx

My husband is on this and it’s made a huge difference - as pp said you can really tell when he’s forgotten to take it!

My almost 5 year old takes it every spring for allergy related asthma, and it works! Instead of needing his inhaler multiple times daily during those months, he doesn’t need it at all and keeps the hives he breaks out in too at bay! No noticeable side effects for him.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 17/10/2018 22:11

No noticeable side effects here, either.

WannabeGilmoreGirl · 17/10/2018 22:13

I'm on it and no problems at all xx

Seacow87 · 24/10/2018 17:03

Initially I was reluctant to try this with my then 3 yr old however it has been amazing. Hugely reduced inhaler use. Less exacerbations. Improved nursery attendance and so far NO hospital stays!!

chant7846 · 24/10/2018 17:12

Amazing. The more people I have spoke to about it the better I have felt. Results seem to be really good!! I was so reluctant when I was reading on the internet but it's daft not to try! So far so good x
